Forklifts For Sale Perth
Find the Right New Forklift
for Your Operation
Compass Forklifts supplies forklift trucks to Perth businesses that need equipment suited to the work, the environment and the day-to-day demands of the site. Our main focus is EP forklift truck models, with electric, diesel and LPG options depending on what the job actually calls for. If your business is running other brands as well, we can still discuss what makes the most sense.
That matters because conditions across Perth are not the same. A warehouse in Canning Vale will not ask the same things of a forklift as an outdoor yard in Henderson or a mixed-use site around Kewdale. Heat, dust, floor condition, ramps, ventilation and duty cycle all affect what will run well and what will become a maintenance issue later.

Forklift Trucks, Matched Properly From the Start
We do not recommend forklift trucks based on a rough capacity estimate and a short phone call. The right machine depends on aisle width, turning space, floor condition, lift height, load weight, load centre, ramp use and how hard the forklift will actually be worked. That is why a Site Capacity Audit is often the fastest way to avoid ending up with the wrong unit.
Our priority is new EP forklift trucks, with used forklifts available where value is the main driver, and the machine still fits the job properly. We can also discuss leasing, finance, rent-to-own and short to long-term lease options through hire if buying outright is not the right move.

Support, Fuel Choice and Long-Term Fit
site operations made easy
Fuel type is part of that decision as well. Electric forklift trucks are a strong option for warehouse environments, while lithium-ion is a major focus because it helps with charging, uptime and day-to-day battery management. Diesel is often the better fit for outdoor work and heavier applications, while LPG can make sense for mixed-use sites where quick refuelling matters. We do not default to one fuel type. We match it to the work, the environment and the operating pattern.
We focus on Perth metro for a reason. Support is typically same day or next day, depending on location, workload and timing. If you already know what forklift truck you need, we can quote quickly. If you want to avoid a mismatch, a Site Capacity Audit is the cleaner place to start.

What You Need to Know
Before You Buy
Choosing the right forklift comes down to how you use it day to day. Here are some of the most common questions around fuel types, capacity, costs and choosing between new and used.
What is the fastest way to choose the right forklift spec?
Give us your load weight, lift height, aisle width and whether the forklift is mainly indoor or outdoor. If the layout is tight, racking is high, or ramps are involved, a Site Capacity Audit is the quickest way to confirm the correct type and configuration.
Is lithium-ion worth it for my shift pattern?
It is often a strong option when you run long shifts, tight changeovers, or high utilisation. Opportunity charging can suit sites where you can top up during breaks rather than relying on long charge windows. We will map the recommendation to your actual duty cycle and charging routine.
Can you match a new forklift to an existing fleet?
Yes. If you want consistency in controls, tyre types, fuel setup or fleet behaviour, tell us what you are currently running and what you want to standardise.
What information do you need to quote a new forklift accurately?
Forklift type, capacity, lift height, fuel preference, environment (indoor or outdoor), duty cycle, and your Perth location. If attachments are required, tell us early.
When should I choose reach trucks instead of counterbalance trucks?
Reach trucks are for the aisles. Counterbalance is for the yard. If you are racking above 6 metres or your aisles are under 3 metres, a reach truck is usually non-negotiable for safety and speed. For loading docks, general handling and container work, the counterbalance is your workhorse.
